Payment of Wages Act, 1936
Authority actions on hearing application of delay on payment of wages or deductions on wages.

Authorities will be any of the following:
1. Any Commissioner for Workmen’s Compensation
2. Regional Labour Commissioner or Assistant Labour Commissioner
3. The presiding officer of any Labour Court
4. Judge of a Civil Court or a Judicial Magistrate

Act 45 of IPC 1860.
section 193: Punishment for false evidence
section 219: Public servant in judicial proceeding corruptly making a report, etc., contrary to law.
section 228: Intentional insult or interruption to public servant sitting in a judicial proceeding.
