Support, Solidarity and Action for November 26th 2020

IT and ITES Employees extends solidarity to General Strike

T & ITES employees extend our solidarity to `March to Delhi’ and `Parliament gherao’ planned on November 26, 27th, 2020 called by the Farmers organizations against the anti-farmer legislation enacted by the Union Government of India and demanding withdrawal of all anti-farmer legislation.

IT & ITES employees support the General Strike to be held on 26th November 2020 called by the Central Trade Unions against anti-labour reforms carried by the Union Government of India and demanding withdrawal of all the anti-labour codes. The working conditions of IT & ITES employees will worsen due to these labour codes. Our analysis finds the draft rules of labour codes released are a path to modern slavery and should be opposed actively to protect the interest and livelihood of employees.

To register our dissent we will be conducting protest through social media by sharing a selfie with demands. A section of IT & ITES employees will be joining the offline protest organized by the Central and State Trade Unions at the Governor Residence, Chennai.

We request all the IT & ITES employees to register their dissent against the labour codes on November 26th through online and offline means.
